The Studio

Rhythm & Funk School of Dance brings Shiamak Davar USA, the Biggest Bollywood dance academy, to the Philadelphia Mainline.


We offer a wide variety of dance classes to suit dancers of every age, experience level and interest. All classes and workshops are taught by professional choreographers, many of whom learned have been dancing with us for years. At Rhythm & Funk School of Dance, dance isn’t just an activity, it’s where every step tells a story.  

The Team

Our team of choreographers and administrators will ensure you have the best dance experience of your life. All of our teachers are professional dancers trained by the famed Shiamak Davar Dance Academy and have a passion for dance, and teaching others to dance. In addition to being highly accomplished in their fields, they are also energetic, positive and caring people. 

Lester Fernandes

Senior Choreographer

Shiamak USA

 

Lester, has been a Senior Choreographer at Shiamak Dance Academy for more than 17 years and has worked with many Bollywood celebrities like Hritik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.


Personally trained by Shiamak, Lester believes in “Dance from your heart and the rest will follow!”

Swapnil Chincholikar

Senior Choreographer

Shiamak USA


A graduate of SHIAMAK’s One Year Training Program (OYP), Swapnil has been personally trained by Shiamak and also assisted him with the OYP.

He has performed across India and the world including at IIFA, Filmfare and many other awards show. Swapnil has trained many Bollywood stars including Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra.

Dolly Daryanani

Founder

 

Dolly, is a avid dance enthusiast and a Shiamak alumni. She has been in the  forefront of getting the best Bollywood dance experience to the Philadelphia Mainline with the intent to bring people with the same interest and passion.


Pritam Potnis

Founder

 

Pritam, is a movie buff since childhood loves Bollywood song and dance sequences.
